The honest notes
How billing actually works
- Usage is metered
- Voice minutes, AI receptionist minutes, transcription and SMS segments beyond a plan's included allowance are billed by usage at the end of the month. Usage is visible to the company in Settings → Billing.
- You connect your own providers
- Calls and texts run on your own Twilio account, email on your SMTP provider, and card processing for your subscription on Stripe. Provider charges are separate from the plan price.
- Prices are set by the operator
- This page reads the same plan and add-on rows the operator edits in the platform console, so what you see here is what Settings → Billing will offer. Retired plans keep existing subscribers.
- Downgrades never hide history
- If a feature leaves your plan, its records (inventory, estimates, invoices, calls, AI calls) stay readable; only creating new ones is paused.
- Failed payments have a grace period
- By default 10 days of full access after a failed payment, then access pauses until it is resolved. Data is never deleted for a billing problem.
- Cancel and export any time
- Your data is exportable as CSV or a full ZIP while you are a customer and for a 30-day retention window after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted.
Billing questions
Pricing FAQ
How is pricing set and can it change?
Plans and add-ons are set by the platform operator and shown on the Pricing page, which reads the same rows the operator edits. Existing subscribers keep their plan if it is retired; price changes are communicated ahead of the next renewal.
What happens if a payment fails?
Your subscription enters a grace period (10 days by default) with full access. If it is not resolved by then access pauses until payment succeeds; your data is untouched.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?
Cancel from Settings → Billing (through the Stripe billing portal) or by contacting support. Your data stays available to export for a 30-day retention window after cancellation; it is then permanently deleted by a scheduled task.
